Sampieri - the moletto

The Sampieri pier is an authentic glimpse of seafaring life. Here the small fishermen's boats, brightly coloured, are moored or pulled dry, between nets arranged by hand and gestures that have always been repeated. Surrounded by fishermen's houses and overlooking one of the most evocative stretches of the coast of Scicli, it is a place where time slows down and the sea tells true stories.
